Qualifications

• Professional caregiving experience is REQUIRED.
• Previous scheduling experience is REQUIRED.
• Not an entry-level scheduling position.
• Comfortable managing frequent schedule changes and urgent staffing needs.
• Able to provide caregiver coverage when necessary to maintain client coverage.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain caregiver schedules based on client needs and availability.
• Respond quickly to call-offs, conflicts, and last-minute changes.
• Proactively contact caregivers to restaff open shifts and prevent coverage gaps.
• Provide direct caregiver coverage when last-minute shifts cannot be restaffed.
• Monitor caregiver hours and overtime in scheduling decisions.
• Document time-off requests and availability changes.
• Communicate professionally with caregivers, clients, families, and staff.
• Answer calls and respond promptly to scheduling concerns.
• Maintain accurate scheduling information in the system.
• Document schedule changes and related communications.
• Assist with onboarding and data entry as needed.
• Collaborate with scheduling and admin teams to ensure reliable client coverage.
