Job summary

MWI Animal Health, a leading brand of Cencora, is seeking a Dairy Technology Sales Representative to grow MICRO Technologies sales within a defined territory. You will travel to customers, demonstrate hardware and software, and manage relationships from prospecting to post-sale follow-up.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree with 1–3 years of outside sales experience, strong sales skills, and a valid driver’s license with up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 1–3 years outside sales experience required; if no degree, a minimum of ten years’ related experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills and proven ability to sell.
• A valid driver’s license and good driving record are mandatory; ability to travel overnight up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout an assigned territory, calling on existing and prospective customers and maintaining a list of 10 best prospects.
• Build long-term relationships with dairy, veterinary and nutrition professionals and state livestock associations.
• Present and demonstrate new technologies, detailing hardware, software requirements, costs, performance, updates and support.
• Quote prices and terms, prepare sales contracts, and transfer customer relationships to appropriate representatives.
• Maintain prospect lists and assist with installation, training, and post-sale support where needed.
• Prepare reports on sales activities, expenses and customer transactions to support territory management.
