Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Dairy Technology Sales Specialist to drive MICRO technologies sales within an assigned dairy territory. You will call on existing and new customers, present advanced technologies, and build lasting relationships with veterinary practices, nutritionists, and livestock associations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or 10 years related experience), strong communication skills, and willingness to travel up to 50% for customer visits. A valid driver’s license is mandatory.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree with 1–3 years outside sales experience is required.
• If candidate does not have a Bachelor’s degree then a minimum of ten years’ related experience is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout an assigned territory, calling on existing and prospective customers.
• Build long-term mutually beneficial relationships with dairy industry professionals and associations.
• Present and demonstrate new technologies to customers and educate them on features, advantages and benefits.
• Quote prices and credit terms based on target margins; prepare sales contracts.
• Maintain customer accounts and ensure smooth transfer to dedicated account representatives.
• Maintain prospect lists and develop sales leads from directories, referrals and industry sources.
