Job summary

MWI Animal Health, a leading brand of Cencora, seeks a Dairy Technology Sales Representative to grow MICRO Technologies sales across the U.S. territory.

You will travel to customers, present new technologies, and build lasting relationships with dairy producers and veterinary practices. The role emphasizes developing target accounts, quoting prices, preparing contracts, and coordinating with field teams to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years outside sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills and a proven ability to sell.
• A valid drivers’ license and good driving record are mandatory. Travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout an assigned territory, calling on existing and prospective customers and maintaining a list of top prospects.
• Build long-term relationships with dairy producers, veterinary practices and industry groups.
• Present and demonstrate new technologies, detail hardware/software requirements, costs and benefits.
• Quote prices and prepare sales contracts to meet margin objectives.
• Transfer customer relationships to the appropriate representative and conduct follow-ups for satisfaction.
• Compile target prospect lists from directories and referrals for leads.
• Assist with installation and training of technology systems and provide on-site support.
• Act as secondary support for all technologies in territory and coordinate with service teams.
• Coordinate training and joint sales efforts with Territory Managers and Sales/Service reps.
• Prepare reports on sales activities and expenses in a timely manner.
