Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor in Kentucky to directly supervise production staff, plan and direct work, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. The role requires an Associate’s degree in Operations Management or equivalent experience and 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a food packaging environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Operations Management or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a food packaging environment preferred.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Experience leading and following Safety/Security Policies and Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise production employees to maximize productivity on assigned shifts and areas.
• Plan, assign and direct work; address product and employee concerns.
• Ensure procedures for production efficiency, product quality and safety are followed.
• Inspect products and adjust machines to meet specifications.
• Coordinate production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements.
• Maintain production records and complete required paperwork.
• Train and evaluate employees; oversee discipline and performance management.
• Promote safety programs and adhere to company policies.
