Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated work experience in food manufacturing; dairy experience preferred.
• Advanced training with a concentration in dairy science is a plus.
• Strong math skills and ability to operate equipment controls.

Responsibilities

• Transfer of dairy products from blending to processing per SOPs to the filling system according to the production run schedule.
• Operate process equipment including high temperature heat exchange systems, rigs, tanks, pumps, product lines, valves, fittings and components.
• Follow Product Processing guidelines to ensure products meet Saputo and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate and coordinate with other departments to meet production schedules and changeovers.
• Follow chart recording guidelines; audit records and complete documentation.
• Proficiency with computer-based software and automated control systems; support audits.
• Perform CIP/SIP/COP and sanitation; maintain cleanliness and housekeeping.
• Operate lift truck safely and participate in cross-training across departments.
