Job summary

Saputo invites motivated individuals to join our 24/7 dairy manufacturing team in Frederick, MD. This hands-on role operates and monitors processing equipment, maintains strict adherence to SOPs, GMPs, and safety policies, and participates in audits and documentation.

Shift rotations are 12 hours, 5 PM–5:30 AM EST, with opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 2+ years in food dairy manufacturing, strong math and technical skills, and the ability to work in a

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of demonstrated work experience in food manufacturing; dairy experience preferred.
• Advanced training with a concentration in dairy science is a plus.
• Strong math skills.
• Strong technical skills, ability to operate and understand equipment controls, touch panels and mechanical operations.
• Ability to achieve lift truck certification and safely operate lift trucks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated work history.
• Consistent attendance is a must.

Responsibilities

• All duties consistent with established SOPs to ensure proper transfer of dairy products from blending to processing, to identified filling system in accordance with the production run schedule.
• Efficient operation of process equipment including high temperature heat exchange systems, rigs, tanks, pumps, product lines, valves, fittings, and components.
• Follow Product Processing guidelines to ensure products meet Saputo requirements.
• Communicate and coordinate with other departments to ensure product is processed and supplied per schedule and changeovers.
• Follow chart recording guidelines; audit records at shift end.
• Proficiency with computer-based software and automated control systems.
• Support internal and external compliance audits.
• Process product reclaim within defined guidelines.
• Perform CIP/SIP/COP sanitation and housekeeping.
• Perform routine equipment adjustments and health and safety procedures.
• Wear required PPE and follow health and safety policies.
