Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a hands-on Blend Operator for a 24/7 facility. The role involves staging and weighing ingredients, blending according to specifications, recording usage in the ERP system, collecting samples, and performing batch testing.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 2+ years in food manufacturing, strong math and communication skills, and is able to operate industrial equipment with attention to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong math skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills; SAP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stage, weigh and record all batch ingredients according to SOPs and customer specifications.
• Mix and blend wet/dry ingredients per product mix/batch sheet specifications.
• Record all ingredient usage using location ERP system.
• Collect pre-blend and final product samples.
• Perform batch analytical testing and report deviations to supervisor.
• Follow allergen protocols and SOPs in detail.
• Operate tanks, pumps and blending equipment; perform CIP/SIP and routine maintenance.
• Complete batch records and data entry accurately and neatly.
