The role includes assisting with FNA and Bronchoscopy procedures and requires a biology-related degree plus a certified cytology credential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology or related field; cytology certificate from CAHEA or HHS‑approved school.
• CAP requirements for training and experience if completed before 1994.
• 1 year of Cytology experience preferred.
• New Grad must attain CT-ASCP Certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists pathologists in preparing cytology material and screening cytology slides for final diagnostic assessment.
• Assists with FNA and Bronchoscopy procedures.
