Responsibilities

To assist pathologists in preparing cytology material and screening cytology slides for final diagnostic assessment. To assist with FNA and Bronchoscopy procedures.

Requirements

• Must possess a bachelor’s degree in biology or related field and must have a certificate in cytology from a CAHEA, or other HHS approved, accredited school of Cytotechnology.
• Meet CAP requirements for training and experience if completed before 1994.
• 1 year of Cytology experience preferred
• CT-ASCP or certified by HHS approved agency; New Grad must attain CT-ASCP Certification within 3 months of hire

Salary Information

Most new hires are typically placed within the lower to mid‑portion of the range; offers above that level are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications.
