LifeBridge Health's Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD is seeking a Cytotechnologist to join our diagnostic team, preparing, screening, and evaluating cytologic specimens to aid in disease diagnosis. You will collaborate with pathologists and participate in FNA procedures.

You will ensure results meet CAP, CLIA, OSHA quality controls, troubleshoot instrument issues, and maintain compliant records. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 2–4 years' cytology experience, and board eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science, cytology, or a related chemical/biological science.
• 2–4 years in a cytology or clinical lab environment preferred.
• Board registered or eligible Cytotechnologist (ASCP or equivalent).
• Licensed Cytologist (LC).

Responsabilités

• Prepare, screen, and evaluate cytologic specimens to assist in diagnosis.
• Participate in fine needle aspiration (FNA) procedures with pathologists.
• Ensure test results meet CAP, CLIA, JCAHO, OSHA quality requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve clinical or instrument issues; maintain records.
