Job summary

The U.S. Navy Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking a coordinator for the Child and Youth Programs (CYP) Fee Assistance program. You will handle clerical tasks, maintain reports, verify enrollment and eligibility, and support families and MCCYN providers enrolled in the program.

The position emphasizes accuracy, data entry, and communication by email and phone, with a focus on timeliness and compliance with DoD and DoDI guidelines.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience with the MCCYN Fee Assistance Program.
• Knowledge of administrative support functions.
• Knowledge of general office automation software and procedures.
• Knowledge of military CY programs (CYP) and Fee Assistance Programs.
• Knowledge of policies/procedures related to the fee assistance program.
• Knowledge of MCC/CYMS or MCC systems.
• Skill in using commonly used computer equipment.
• Knowledge of basic accounting procedures related to claims/transactions.
• Ability to conduct research to resolve discrepancies and verify information.
• Ability to maintain computerized databases and accurate reports/records.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain reports, correspondence, and data for fee assistance components.
• Review enrollment paperwork and verify eligibility, sponsor, spouse employment, and family income.
• Gathers information from families for enrollment and determine subsidy benefits.
• Verify provider participation information including licensing and accreditation.
• Review monthly claim forms and reconcile payments and overpayments.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports per policies and procedures.
• Research records and follow up to resolve discrepancies.
• Notify supervisor of discrepancies or unresolved issues.
• Provide fee assistance support via phone, email, and online messaging.
• Assist in disseminating information to Fee Assistance providers on enrollment, subsidy awards, payments, and status.
• Maintain waiting lists for fee assistance requests.
