Job summary

Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking an administrative support role to coordinate the fee assistance program for child care services. You will handle enrollment, eligibility, and subsidy processing, and support families and community providers with inquiries.

The position requires accuracy, knowledge of MCC/MS systems, and strong communication skills to ensure timely and compliant processing within a federal program.

Qualifications

• One or more year of specialized experience with the MCCYN Fee Assistance Program.
• Knowledge of administrative support functions.
• Knowledge of general office software and procedures.
• Knowledge of military CY programs and fee assistance policies.
• Knowledge of MCCMS/CYMS databases.
• Ability to conduct research and maintain computerized databases.
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain reports, correspondence, and financial data for the Fee Assistance Program.
• Review enrollment paperwork for completeness and eligibility of fees.
• Determine subsidy benefits using enrollment information.
• Verify provider participation and licensing information.
• Process monthly claims and reconcile payments and overpayments.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports per policies.
• Discrepancy resolution and follow-up with supervisor as needed.
• Provide fee assistance support via phone, email, and online messaging.
• Disseminate information to Fee Assistance providers about enrollment, subsidy and payments.
• Monitor waiting lists for fee assistance requests.
