Job summary

Navy Region Southeast Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking CY Program Assistants to support the Child and Youth Programs (CYP). You will engage with children and youth, help develop social skills, model safe practices, and assist with nutrition and activity planning.

Responsibilities include implementing curriculum, supervising activities, collaborating with families and staff, and helping maintain compliance with DoD and installation policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to promote and foster effective working relationships with children, youth, and coworkers.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and supervision for program participants.
• Assist in curriculum planning and activity setup.
• Ensure safety and adherence to DoD policies.
• Communicate with parents and staff about children's progress.
• Maintain compliant records and participate in program assessments.
