The role involves reviewing registrations, verifying eligibility, processing subsidy benefits, and generating regular reports. Strong communication skills and knowledge of MCCYN/DoD child care programs are essential.

Qualifications

• One or more year(s) of specialized experience with the Military Child Care in your Neighborhood (MCCYN) Fee Assistance Program.
• Knowledge of administrative support functions.
• Knowledge of general office automation software and procedures.
• Knowledge of military CY programs (Child Development Centers, Family Child Care, School Age Care, Fee Assistance).
• Knowledge of MCC or CYMS database systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains reports, correspondence, and data for the Fee Assistance program.
• Reviews enrollment paperwork for completeness and verifies eligibility.
• Determines subsidy amounts based on enrollment and family income.
• Verifies provider participation and licensing information.
• Processes claims, reconciles overpayments, and generates monthly reports.
• Communicates with families about eligibility, waiting lists, and payment status.
• Disseminates information to Fee Assistance providers and maintains waiting lists.
