Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking CYP Assistants to engage and supervise children and youth, ensuring safety and development within the DoD Child and Youth Programs. The role emphasizes following plans, adapting activities, and collaborating with parents and staff.

The position requires 18+ with HS diploma or GED, and adherence to health, security, and training requirements. Applicants should be prepared for background checks and DoD regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Resumes must include KSAs related to the position.
• Must provide HS Diploma or equivalent; higher degree preferred for CY programs.
• One year of required DoD/NAVY training or equivalent may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules and activity plans aligned with child and youth needs.
• Implement activities and events meeting physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs.
• Maintain safe, healthy, and nutritious meal/snack practices where applicable.
• Prepare indoor and outdoor activity areas and maintain equipment.
• Supervise children and youth and ensure safe departure with authorized pickup.
• Document developmental progression and participate in program evaluation.
