Job summary

Navy Child and Youth Programs (CYP) within the U.S. Navy Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking an administrative professional to coordinate all functions related to the fee assistance program.

You will handle clerical tasks, enrollments, eligibility checks, and data entry for family support and provider records. You will prepare reports, verify licensing, process claims, and assist families via phone, email, and online messaging.

Qualifications

• One year or more of general administrative work experience or an Associate degree/related field.
• Knowledge of administrative support functions and office automation software.
• Familiarity with military Child and Youth programs and fee assistance.
• Experience with MCC or CYMS databases and program policies.
• Ability to conduct research and resolve discrepancies; maintain records.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain reports, correspondence, and financial data for CYP fee assistance.
• Review enrollment paperwork for eligibility and tuition/fee calculations.
• Gather enrollment information to determine subsidy benefits for children.
• Verify provider participation and licensing/ accreditation data in state sites.
• Process monthly claim forms, reconcile overpayments, and handle payments issues.
• Generate daily/weekly/monthly reports and ensure timely submission.
• Research records and resolve discrepancies; notify supervisor of unresolved issues.
• Provide fee assistance support via phone, email, and online messaging.
• Disseminate information to fee assistance providers on enrollment, awards, and procedures.
• Maintain waiting lists and track family requests for fee assistance.
