Job summary

City of New York is seeking two Project Design Innovation Coordinators in the Cycling & Micromobility Unit to support bicycle infrastructure projects citywide. You will work with engineers, planners, and stakeholders to develop construction-ready plans, analyze traffic operations, and prepare reports and drawings.

A strong background in multimodal design and GIS is essential. The role requires field work across NYC, coordination with DOT, and public outreach efforts; remote work is possible up

Qualifications

• Degree in city planning or related field required.
• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders preferred.
• Ability to analyze traffic operations and design street improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support development of bicycle facilities and multimodal improvements.
• Conduct traffic operations, safety, and before-and-after analyses.
• Prepare technical reports and design drawings to support project development.

Education

Bachelor's degree in City Planning or related field
