Job summary

City of New York seeks two Senior Project Coordinators to support construction-ready bicycle infrastructure designs across all five boroughs. You will develop AutoCAD drawings, validate traffic models, and collaborate with engineers, planners, and community stakeholders to deliver safe, livable streets.

The role requires strong CAD skills, experience with Synchro and GIS, and a passion for cycling. NYC residency is generally required; remote work up to two days weekly may be available.

Qualifications

• A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Experience in city planning or transportation design is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of roadway design principles and complete streets concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed AutoCAD drawings for bicycle infrastructure projects across NYC boroughs.
• Review Synchro traffic models to ensure multimodal safety and efficiency.
• Coordinate with DOT divisions and stakeholders to maintain design consistency.
• Conduct site visits and field measurements to inform design decisions.
