Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Manager, Cybersecurity Sales Specialists to build and lead a cross‑functional team selling to security teams across our Americas units. You’ll shape security strategy, guide engagements with CISOs, and partner with AE and Applied AI orgs to drive revenue and strengthen our security posture.

You’ll hire and coach top performers, own forecast and pipeline, define coverage models, and translate customer insights into product and roadmap inputs.

Qualifications

• Experience building and leading a cybersecurity sales team.
• Track record closing complex multi‑stakeholder enterprise deals.
• Fluency with how security teams work (CISOs, app security leads).
• Depth in at least one security domain (e.g., app security, OOS, cloud).
• History building a business via outbound and partners.
• Ability to lead through influence and not just authority.
• Consultative selling approach; understand problems first.
• Commitment to safe and beneficial AI.

Responsibilities

• Hire, onboard and develop a high-performing cybersecurity sales team.
• Own your team's forecast, pipeline health and results across the BUs.
• Set your team's coverage model and engagement rules with sales leaders.
• Build a pipeline engine with Account Executives across accounts and outbound.
• Coach your team through complex deals and act as executive sponsor with CISOs.
• Make security reviews and procurement a repeatable path, not deal-by-deal.
• Scale enablement so AEs can spot and qualify security opportunities.
• Turn customer insights into input on roadmap for product, safeguards and marketing.
• Run a healthy team with clear expectations and regular feedback.
