Full time

This is a US-based role. You will need the right to work in the United States.

We've built the technology. Now we want more businesses using it. This is one of ourfirst dedicated sales roles and a genuine opportunity to help build the commercialside of Sender Registry almost from the beginning. You will not be inheritingsomebody else's sales machine. You will be helping us create it.

About Sender Registry

Sender Registry is a business email intelligence network. We help businesses spotsuspicious senders, impersonation and fraud before anyone clicks, replies or pays.

Sender Registry started with one simple problem: watching family members get fooled byincreasingly convincing fake emails. That idea has grown into a network where one personspotting a threat can help protect everyone else using it. We're still early and stillsmall but we're building quickly. That makes this an exciting time to join us and meansthe people we hire now will have a genuine role in shaping what Sender Registry becomes.

What our intelligence actually covers

Most security tools look at one email in isolation. We correlate the whole picture, across things including:

  • Sender identity and reputation
  • SPF, DKIM and DMARC authentication
  • Domains, subdomains and DNS infrastructure
  • Lookalike and impersonation domains
  • Email headers and routing
  • URLs and redirect chains
  • Fake sign-in pages
  • Attachments
  • Executive and brand impersonation
  • Phishing and Business Email Compromise
  • Payment-diversion and invoice fraud
  • Fraud-linked bank accounts, wallets and phone numbers
  • Campaign relationships and threat history
  • Network reporting and retrospective intelligence

Business Watch turns this into continuous monitoring across suppliers, executives, brands and lookalike domains. Our API and webhooks let technical customers wire ourintelligence straight into their own tools. This is the technology you'll be sellingand yes, you'll end up genuinely good at explaining all of it.

The opportunity

We're looking for an exceptional Technical Sales Executive who can turn SenderRegistry's technology into customers, recurring revenue and real market growth.

You'll own the entire new-business journey. Research. Prospect. Engage. Discover.Demonstrate. Qualify. Negotiate. Close. You'll create opportunities rather than waitfor them and speak with business owners, IT leaders, MSPs, CISOs, CIOs, CTOs andfinance leaders who will each bring a very different level of technical knowledge tothe conversation. Above everything else, you'll be here to win customers, buildrelationships and generate revenue.

The word technical matters. Cybersecurity buyers ask difficult questions about DMARCalignment, DNS configuration, compromised supplier accounts and how Sender Registryworks alongside their existing security stack. You don't need to be an engineer, SOCanalyst or penetration tester but you do need to be comfortable when the conversationbecomes technical. When a customer asks how Sender Registry fits alongside theirexisting security stack, you should want to work out the answer yourself rather thanhand the question to somebody else. You'll have the curiosity to understand whatyou're selling and the ability to turn that knowledge into a clear and compellingreason for a non-technical finance director to act:

What is the risk? Why should I care? What could it cost us? How does Sender Registry help? Why should we act now?

What you'll get to know really well

You'll already be familiar with some of this and genuinely excited to learn the rest:

  • Cybersecurity fundamentals. Threats, vulnerabilities, phishing, spoofing, impersonation and social engineering.
  • Business Email Compromise (BEC). Supplier impersonation, executive impersonation, invoice fraud and payment diversion.
  • Email security architecture. Where authentication, gateways, filtering and threat intelligence fit together.
  • SPF, DKIM and DMARC. Authentication, alignment, signing and the road to enforcement.
  • DNS and domain infrastructure. Domains, subdomains, MX, TXT and CNAME records.
  • Domain impersonation. Typosquatting, homoglyph attacks and freshly registered lookalikes.
  • Email headers. Message routing, From, Return-Path, Reply-To and authentication results.
  • Threat intelligence. How one indicator becomes far more valuable once correlated across infrastructure and time.
  • SaaS economics. Subscriptions, licensing, recurring revenue and the customer lifecycle.
  • APIs and webhooks. Enough to talk through integrating our intelligence into a customer's own systems.
  • Cloud platforms. Practical, working familiarity with modern cloud business environments.
  • Security reporting. Reading dashboards, risk scores and technical findings, and explaining what they mean.
  • CRM discipline. Contacts, accounts, opportunities, activity, pipeline and forecasts, kept honest.
  • AI-assisted selling. Using AI and automation for research, prospecting, personalisation and prep.

We do not expect you to know all of this on day one. We do expect you to want to.

What you will own
  • Hunt down and research high-potential accounts, sectors and use cases, then map out who actually holds the budget and the pain
  • Build and run your own outbound pipeline across calls, email and LinkedIn, rather than waiting on marketing to hand you leads
  • Run discovery that gets to the real risk, controls and priorities, not just a features checklist
  • Position Sender Registry honestly against whatever security stack a prospect already runs
  • Give confident, technically credible demos that translate features into security and commercial value
  • Build the business case, handle the objections, technical and commercial, and negotiate the deal
  • Close new business and keep your CRM and forecast honest
  • Spot expansion opportunities as customers take on more of what we do
  • Work directly with senior management on the deals that matter most
  • Feed what you learn from customers straight back into product and go-to-market strategy
  • Track the competitive landscape and represent Sender Registry at industry events
What winning looks like

We're a growth company so activity matters but what really matters is where thatactivity leads. Prospecting starts conversations. Great conversations createopportunities. Strong opportunities become customers and customers create recurringrevenue.

We'll look at the accounts you engage, the decision-makers you speak with, qualifiedopportunities, demonstrations, pipeline growth, conversion rates, new customers, recurring revenue and the accuracy of your forecasts. Building strong numbers takesmore than making lots of calls. It takes smart targeting, thoughtful follow-up,technical confidence and the judgement to understand what matters most to eachprospect.

Activity gets things moving. Customers and revenue are what move us forward.

Who we're looking for

Someone who combines technical curiosity with a genuine appetite for the chase. You're ambitious about the opportunity without ever being pushy with the customer. You see an empty pipeline and immediately want to build it. You hear an objection andwant to understand what is really behind it.

  • Commercially driven. You like winning business, targets motivate you rather than scare you and you know sales owns the commercial outcome.
  • Technically curious. You genuinely want to know why SPF fails or how a lookalike domain gets built, not just enough terminology to survive one call.
  • Credible. You can talk to a managing director at ten and a security lead at eleven without losing either of them.
  • Resilient. New-business sales means rejection. Yesterday's no does not shrink today's activity.
  • Intelligent. You learn fast, spot patterns and ask good questions, because our product, customers and competitors will all keep changing.
  • Accountable. If pipeline is thin, your first question is "what am I going to do about it", never "who didn't give me enough leads".
  • Coachable. You actively want feedback and you use it. Confidence is good. The ability to learn is better.
  • Competitive. You want to perform and know where you stand, in a team that shares knowledge rather than hoards it.
On paper, we'd love to see
  • 5+ years' professional experience, most of it in B2B new-business sales
  • A track record of building your own pipeline, not just working inbound leads
  • Cybersecurity, SaaS, software, IT or technology sales experience
  • A demonstrable history of winning new customers and hitting target
  • Strong telephone prospecting and structured discovery skills
  • Confidence presenting and demoing technical software
  • Comfort with both technical stakeholders and C-level decision-makers
  • Strong commercial negotiation and multi-stage deal management
  • Proper CRM discipline and an understanding of recurring-revenue economics
  • A genuine interest in cybersecurity and technology

Experience selling cybersecurity, email security, threat intelligence, domainsecurity, fraud prevention or MSP services would be a real advantage. Familiaritywith MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, Challenger, SPIN or value-based selling would also be valuablebut we're just as interested in how you think, communicate and turn opportunitiesinto customers.

But a perfect CV will not get you this job on its own. Technical capability, commercial instinct, attitude and hunger matter more.

How we work

This role is based in your own city where you'll take real ownership of yourterritory and build your own network in person. You'll need to be confident workingindependently, managing your own time and deciding where the best opportunities arewithout waiting for someone at head office to tell you what to do. We're building atechnology company and a sales organisation at the same time and we believe peoplelearn faster, build stronger relationships and close more business when they aregenuinely out meeting the people they sell to.

You'll have direct access to the people building the product and support wheneveryou need it but we'll trust you to manage your own day, your territory and youropportunities.

There is more to it than the numbers above. You will also:

  • Build genuine expertise in cybersecurity, email intelligence and fraud prevention
  • Sell a product spanning email security, sender intelligence, domain protection and fraud prevention, not one narrow tool
  • Work directly with senior management and experienced technology entrepreneurs
  • Help shape our sales organisation while we're still early enough for your ideas to make a real difference
  • Use modern AI, automation and sales tooling day to day
  • Sell to organisations in the UK and internationally
  • Build a genuine, measurable record of customers, pipeline and revenue you created

As we grow we will need senior sales executives, team leaders, sales managers andcommercial leaders, and we would much rather grow those people from inside thebusiness than hire them in. Join now and strong performance can turn into real careerprogression, fast.

Is this actually for you?

To be straight with you about what this role isn't:

  • If you want marketing to fill your diary with qualified opportunities, this isn't it
  • If you dislike cold calling, this isn't it
  • If technical questions make you uncomfortable, this isn't it
  • If you need several layers of management before making a decision, this isn't it
  • If missing target means looking for somebody else to blame, this really isn't it

But if you want to learn complex technology, take on a big market, build your ownpipeline, talk to serious decision-makers, negotiate, close, win and eventually pointat a growing cybersecurity company and say "I helped build that", we want to hearfrom you.

How to apply

Message us on LinkedIn and tell us a little about yourself. We'd love to hear aboutthe targets you've carried, the pipeline you've built and the deals you've closedwhether technical or otherwise. Tell us what you're particularly good at and whySender Registry caught your attention. Let us know what salary you're looking fortoo. Every message is read by us personally and we're genuinely looking forward tohearing from people who could become part of the team.

We do not use recruitment agencies or accept agency introductions for this role. Direct candidates only, please.
