Job summary

Rea Information Services seeks a Technology & Cybersecurity Specialist II to provide responsive IT support and cybersecurity services for external clients. You will manage Level 1–2 requests, monitor security events, and help maintain health of client systems while escalating issues as needed.

The role emphasizes research, problem-solving, and clear communication with business and IT stakeholders. Travel to client sites may be required, with a strong focus on security controls and best practices.

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in computer science, information systems, networking, information security, or a related discipline, or 2 years’ experience and industry training.
Experience in IT, information systems, technical support, or cybersecurity capacity preferred.
Experience working in an MSP environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Respond to Level 1 and 2 service requests, tickets, and cybersecurity tickets.
Identify business impact and urgency, provide support for critical issues, and escalate when needed.
Monitor ticket queues, communicate status and next steps, and meet service delivery expectations.
Provide on-site and remote support with professional client service.
Follow internal service delivery policies, procedures, and security requirements.
Document work in Rea Information Services systems and report time accurately.
