Job summary

Serco is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support the U.S. Navy’s Team Submarine program offices in the Washington, DC area. The role involves implementing Navy Cyber Security requirements and RMF accreditation through DoD guidelines for ashore and afloat systems.

Candidates must be able to obtain a DoW Secret clearance and typically have a Bachelor’s in cyber security or related field, with 2+ years in IT security and a strong collaboration skillset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cyber security, computer science, MIS, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Business IT systems.
• DoD RMF/DIACAP familiarity and security accreditation methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop RMF accreditation packages and evidence artifacts.
• Ensure compliance with Navy Cyber Security requirements across teams.
• Maintain records in TEAM SUB cybersecurity portfolio and respond to security incidents.
• Coordinate remediation actions and status reporting to leadership.
• Assist investigations with NAVSEA and other authorities.
