Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a Cybersecurity Engineer to support the U.S. Navy’s Team Submarine program. The role requires ensuring compliance with Navy cyber security standards, RMF accreditation activities, and coordination with DoN/NAVSEA cybersecurity controls.

You must be eligible for a DoW Secret clearance and be a U.S. citizen. Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2+ years of IT security experience are required, with CompTIA Security+ being a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain a DoW Secret security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in cyber security, computer science, MIS, or related fields or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Business IT systems.
• CompTIA Security+ is a plus.
• Strong oral and written communication skills to work with all levels of IT operations and technical teams.
• Good communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to travel 10%.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing SOPs and policy for Navy Cyber Security Requirements.
• Interface with CIO to ensure compliance with Team Sub and NAVSEA Cyber Security requirements.
• Maintain familiarity with higher-level cyber security requirements and relay to the program office.
