Job summary

Serco is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support U.S. Navy Team Submarine Program Offices at the Washington Navy Yard. The role requires obtaining a DoW Secret clearance and US citizenship.

You will help implement Navy Cyber Security requirements and RMF processes across ashore and afloat systems, coordinating with multiple Navy and DoD organizations. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of experience with DoD IT systems, with strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a cyber security, computer science, MIS, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with DoD IT systems or Navy programs.
• Experience implementing Navy Cyber Security requirements and RMF.
• Ability to obtain DoW Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing SOPs and policies for Navy Cyber Security requirements.
• Interface with ACIO to ensure compliance with Team Sub and NAVSEA Cyber Security requirements.
• Maintain awareness of higher-level DoN/NAVSEA cyber requirements and apply them to program office work.
• Develop RMF accreditation packages and related artifacts (SSP, POA&M, SLCM, RAR, SAP, SAR).
• Identify and test security controls, coordinate remediation actions, and track to closure.
• Coordinate records in TEAM SUB Enterprise Cybersecurity portfolio and support investigations as needed.
