Job summary

Serco is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support US Navy Team Submarine programs, based near Washington, DC. The role requires building procedures, ensuring Navy Cyber Security compliance, and RMF activities with DoD processes. U.S. citizenship and a DoW secret clearance are required.

The candidate will work with DoD RMF packages, maintain accreditation artifacts, and coordinate with NAVSEA and Team Sub leadership. A Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of IT security experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain a DoW Secret security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Business IT systems.
• ComTIA Security+ is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop standard operating procedures and policy for Navy Cyber Security requirements.
• Interface with ACIO to ensure compliance with Team Sub and NAVSEA Cyber Security requirements.
• Maintain familiarity with higher-level cyber security requirements and apply them to the program office.
• Prepare RMF accreditation artifacts and maintain RMF artifacts.
• Identify and test security controls with system owners.
• Coordinate records in TEAM SUB cybersecurity portfolio for BMA, DIMA, EIEMA, WMA.
