Serco is actively seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support U.S. Navy Team Submarine at the Washington Navy Yard, DC area. You will help develop procedures, ensure RMF/DIACAP compliance, and manage cybersecurity artifacts across submarine programs.

The role requires a DoW Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, a relevant degree, and at least 2 years in IT security. Travel up to 10% and strong communication skills are expected.

Qualificações

• Must be able to obtain a DoW Secret security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in cyber security, computer science, MIS, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Business IT systems.
• CompTIA Security+ is a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to travel 10%.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the development of standard operating procedures and policy regarding the implementation of Navy Cyber Security Requirements.
• Interface with the Team Sub Activity Chief Information Officer (ACIO) to ensure compliance with Team Sub and NAVSEA Cyber Security requirements.
• Maintain familiarity with all Cyber Security requirements and procedures from higher levels and relay to the program office, assisting application of those requirements.
• Perform RMF/DIACAP activities to obtain Authorization to Operate with Conditions or ATO prior to fielding TEAM SUB systems; develop RMF accreditation packages.
• Identify security controls, work with system owners to implement and test controls, and complete RMF artifacts and milestones.
• Organize updating and coordination of records in the TEAM SUB Enterprise Cybersecurity portfolio across various mission areas.
• Validate DON cybersecurity information systems (eMASS, PBIS, DITPR-DON, VRAM, DADMS, ERS) reflect cybersecurity posture; provide status to TEAM SUB staff.
• Assist with investigations of inadvertent electronic spills and draft reports for the ASM; coordinate with NAVSEA and other authorities.
• Coordinate remediation actions and track to closure; ensure cybersecurity is integrated across lifecycles of TEAM SUB programs.
