Serco Inc. seeks a Cyber Systems Engineer for CAF DMO 3.0 in Hampton, VA to perform test, integration and evaluation of M&S systems for DoD training.

You will work with DoD customers and Serco teams at Langley AFB and Orlando on test services, development, and support activities across the engineering life cycle. The role requires active DoD Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI and SAP/SAR, a STEM degree with 5 years of experience (or an Associate's with 7 years), and travel up to 10%.

Formación

• Active DoD Secret clearance and the ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field plus 5 years of engineering experience in test, integration, software development, or embedded systems.
• Or an Associate's degree with 7 years of engineering experience in the same areas.
• Experience supporting DoD customers and personnel in a technical capacity.
• Familiarity or experience with development, test and evaluation of military training or operational systems.
• Must possess, or obtain within six months, a DoD 8140 IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CISSP).
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsabilidades

• Support simulation system and application integration, evaluation, and interoperability test to support DMON and JSE training operations.
• Use industry-standard tools for simulation test and evaluation including Wireshark and CGFs.
• Analyze network and computational system performance (latency, bandwidth, jitter, occupancy).
• Develop and maintain test plans and procedures documenting test activities.
• Draft comprehensive test reports from integration, test, evaluation, and verification tasks.
• Develop CONOPS and COAs for deployment of evaluated simulation capabilities.
• Contribute to requirements reviews, training operations support, and basic system administration tasks.
• Create and maintain test procedures and test cases under supervision.
• Support program processes using Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, X-Ray).
• Participate in peer reviews, test bed maintenance, and debugging activities.
• Write and maintain scripts (PowerShell, Cygwin, VBScript) to streamline test artifact creation and task execution.
• Identify production/non-production issues and implement solutions.
