Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a Cyber Systems Engineer for the CAF DMO 3.0 program to perform test, integration, and evaluation of M&S systems supporting 5th and 6th generation training interoperability.

The role interfaces with DoD customers and teams at Langley AFB and Orlando, FL to deliver quality test services. The position requires an active DoD Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI and SAP/SAR, a STEM degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or an Associate’s with 7 years, and up to 10%

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5+ years in test, integration, SW development, or embedded systems engineering (or an Associate’s with 7 years).
• Experience supporting DoD customers and personnel in a technical capacity.
• Familiarity or experience with development, test and evaluation of military training or operational systems.
• Must possess, or obtain within six months, a DoD 8140 IAT Level II or higher.
• The ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support simulation system and application integration, evaluation, and interoperability test for DMON and JSE training operations.
• Use industry-standard tools for simulation test and evaluation (Wireshark, CGFs, etc.).
• Analyze network and system performance including latency, bandwidth, jitter, and occupancy.
• Develop and maintain test plans and procedures documenting test activities.
• Draft comprehensive test reports from integration, test, evaluation, and verification tasks.
• Assist in CONOPS and COA development for implementation of simulated capabilities.
• Contribute to requirements review, training support, and basic system administration.
• Produce well-defined test procedures and test cases under senior guidance.
• Support program processes using Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, X-Ray).
• Participate in peer reviews, test bed maintenance, programming, testing, and debugging.
• Write and maintain PowerShell, Cygwin, VB-based scripts for test artifact creation and task execution.
• Help identify and resolve production/non-production application issues.
