Serco seeks a Cyber Systems Engineer for its Combat Air Force Distributed Mission Operations (CAF DMO) program in Hampton, VA. You will join a focused engineering team to test, integrate, and evaluate disparate M&S systems and applications to support 5th/6th generation training interoperability while coordinating with Langley AFB and Orlando teams.

• Active DoD Secret clearance required and ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and 5 years of engineering/test/integration experience or an Associate’s degree with 7 years of related experience.
• Experience supporting DoD customers in a technical capacity.
• Familiarity with military training or joint simulation environments is a plus.
• Must be able to travel up to 10%.

Responsabilidades

• Support simulation system and application integration, evaluation, and interoperability test for training operations.
• Use industry-standard tools (Wireshark, CGFs, GFE) for test and evaluation.
• Analyze network and system performance including latency, bandwidth, jitter, and occupancy.
• Develop and maintain test plans and procedures; draft comprehensive test reports.
• Assist in CONOPS development and multiple COAs for deployment of evaluated capabilities.
• Contribute to requirements review, training support, and basic system administration tasks.
• Create concise test procedures and test cases under senior guidance.
• Support team processes using Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, X-Ray).
• Participate in peer reviews, test bed maintenance, and debugging activities.
• Write and maintain scripts and small programs to improve test artifact creation and execution.
