Job summary

Leidos Intelligence Sector seeks Cyberspace Operational Planners to support Department of Defense Joint Planning processes underpinning USCYBERCOM operations. You will engage in Cyberspace Operations planning, staff foundational documents, and integrate capabilities into broader plans.

Applicants should have an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility and a polygraph, plus 4+ years CO planning experience, familiarity with JP 5-0, and formal cyber planning training.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and Polygraph.
• 4+ years recent CO Planner experience; waivers possible for combat mission or JOINT HQ roles.
• Familiarity with military operations phases of planning, approval, and execution.
• Intimate familiarity with JP 5-0 Joint Operational Planning.
• Formal Cyber Operational Planner training within DoD or IC.
• Broad knowledge of Blue-space Cyber capabilities and available cyber infrastructure.
• Knowledge of CO planning and joint cyber operations across DoD/IC.
• Strong networking fundamentals and ability to produce analytical documents and briefings.
• Proven ability to multi-task and perform under deadline pressure.
• Able to work across DoD and IC agencies to support goals.

Responsibilities

• Engage in approved plans development and staffing to enable Cyberspace Operations per USCYBERCOM guidance.
• Support targeting selection, validation, synchronization, and integration during cyber activities.
• Draft and staff Operational Plans, Operational Orders, and Fragmentary Orders.
• Support Joint Operational Planning Groups and integrate cyberspace capabilities into plans.
• Develop concepts of support and courses of action; coordinate with external capabilities.
• Provide situational awareness to projects and Crisis Action Teams in support of OPTs.
• Develop and review CO plans and guidance for integration into broader activities.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cyber threats and adversary techniques; assess vulnerabilities.
• Execute comprehensive programs for assessing CO and validating performance characteristics.
• Review and prioritize operational requirements for cyber capabilities acquisition.
