The South Carolina Department of Social Services is seeking a dedicated CWS Case Manager to perform case management and concurrent planning in the Child Welfare Adoptions area. You will contact children and families to promote permanency and collaborate with the team to ensure safety and well-being.

You will maintain records, complete CANS assessments, and participate in legal proceedings while supporting families and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Behavioral Science, or Social Science.
• Bachelor's degree in any other field plus one year of related field experience.
• Master's degree may be preferred; Child Welfare experience highly desired.

Responsabilités

• Perform case management and concurrent planning in Child Welfare for adoptions, contacting families to achieve permanency.
• Coordinate adoption recruitment, select adoptive resources, and prepare children for adoptive placements.
• Maintain accurate case records, complete CANS assessments, and update Family Permanency Plans with the CFT.
