The South Carolina Department of Social Services (State of South Carolina) seeks a CWS Case Manager - Family Preservation in Darlington County. You will manage a caseload, assess safety, plan services, and coordinate with families, partners, and legal entities to promote permanency and well-being.

You will document thoroughly in the CAPSS system, participate in on-call duties, and complete annual training to maintain child welfare certification.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a social science field or related field is required.
• Related field experience with a year in social services is acceptable with a non-social science degree.
• Master's degree or higher can substitute for work experience requirements.

Aufgaben

• Perform case management in the Child Welfare/Famil y Preservation area according to policy and GPS Practice Model.
• Maintain and update case records and prepare timely service referrals.
• Engage families with empathy, coordinate with legal when needed, and participate in child and family team meetings.
• Complete FAST documentation and develop Family Permanency Plans with timely referrals.

Ausbildung

Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Behavioral Science, or Social Science

Bachelor's Degree in any other field with 1 year related experience

Master's Degree or higher may substitute for required work experience
