Job summary

Serco is seeking a Project Manager for the Naval Acquisition and Sustainment Operation to oversee engineering and technical services supporting maintenance for U.S. Navy Aircraft Carriers.

This role is based in Bremerton, WA, and requires maintaining an active DoD Secret clearance while coordinating with Navy ships and shipyards. You will lead HM&E and aviation systems teams, develop formal work packages, provide training, and ensure maintenance planning aligns with Navy manuals and CCAMM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with seven years' related engineering management experience or an Associate's with fourteen years' related experience.
• Active DoD security clearance is required.
• Five years of supervisory experience in maintenance, design, or engineering for Navy carriers/surface ships.
• Three years involved with main propulsion, electrical, and damage control systems.
• Two years of experience with auxiliary, electrical and damage control systems on U.S. Naval Ships.
• Up to 25% travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams providing technical guidance on HM&E and aviation systems interfacing with combat support systems.
• Oversee inspections, analysis, and repairs with maintenance planning recommendations.
• Liaison with ship's reactor department prior to inspections and work.
• Manage personnel to support short- and long-term contract work.
• Develop training and formal work packages in accordance with Navy manuals.
• Cultivate positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
