Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee engineering services for overhaul and repair of HM&E and aviation systems on U.S. Navy carriers.

The role requires coordinating with Ships Force and reactor departments, leading technical teams, and ensuring compliance with maintenance manuals and CIP programs. The ideal candidate has a strong background in naval propulsion, electrical systems, and damage control equipment, plus the ability to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelorb degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum seven years in related engineering management field (or fourteen years with an associate degree).
• Active DoD security clearance required.
• Experience supervising technical teams on Navy carriers and surface ships.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams providing technical guidance on HME, propulsion, electrical, and aviation systems.
• Inspect, examine, and recommend maintenance/repair actions for naval propulsion and auxiliary machinery.
• Coordinate with ships reactor department prior to inspections and work.
• Develop and oversee work packages and training for Ships Force.
• Manage short-term and long-term contract efforts and stakeholder relationships.
