Ascent Global Logistics is seeking a Customs Entry Writer to prepare entries for submission to U.S. Customs and Border Protection and to support daily administrative tasks.

The role involves data entry, email communications, and ensuring accurate, compliant documentation for shipments. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, basic understanding of customs processes, and proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel, in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of U.S. Customs processes.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare entries for submission to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
• Perform data entry and provide administrative support.
• Manage daily email requests related to account transactions.
• Communicate with account managers on routine issues.
• Prepare and process documentation for government releases.
• Verify import entry documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain client records of transactional activity.
• Submit Import Security Filing (ISF) entries.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Support process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
