IGH Holding Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Entry Writer with import documentation experience to support our customs brokerage and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will prepare and file import entries, classify goods under HTSUS, process duties and fees, and coordinate with clients and U.S.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of experience in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or import operations.
• Working knowledge of import documentation and customs clearance procedures.
• Experience using CargoWise or similar customs entry software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, review, and file import entries in accordance with CBP regulations.
• Review import documentation: commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading for accuracy.
• Classify imported goods under HTSUS and apply tariff correctly.
• Process and calculate import duties, taxes, and government fees; ensure correct reporting to CBP.
• Prepare and review CBP Form 7501 and verify duty calculations prior to submission.
• Communicate with CBP, clients, carriers, and internal teams to obtain required documentation and resolve discrepancies.
• Respond to customs inquiries and assist with holds, exams, or requests for information.
• Monitor shipments to ensure timely customs clearance and delivery.
• Maintain accurate and organized entry records for compliance and audit purposes.
