Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a Teller in New Haven to greet customers, assist with mobile app and ATM usage, and complete simple transactions. You will deliver personalized guidance to help customers reach their financial goals while following bank policies and cash handling procedures.

You will connect customers with Bankers for next steps, educate them on Citizens products, and contribute to a positive branch experience through strong listening and communication skills and a customer-centric

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED.
• Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions.
• Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services to customers.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to enhance and develop a long-term customer relationship.
• Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Customer-centric to deliver exceptional service.
• Comfortable with using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in lobbies and demonstrate how to use mobile app or ATMs to complete simple transactions.
• Provide personalized advice and connect customers to Bankers for the next step.
• Educate customers on Citizens products and benefits and respond to questions or concerns.
• Follow all financial policies and procedures, including proper cash handling and compliance.
