Socket.dev is seeking a field service technician to install, service, and train customers on Amada Punch Presses and related equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, following blueprints, and delivering hands-on operator training.
Ideal candidates will have a 4-year Electronics degree or a 2-year related degree with experience, plus the ability to travel regularly and lift up to 50 lbs. English communication is essential.
To support customers with (but not limited to) Amada Punch Presses. This includes installation, service, operational training, networking, programming training, software training, application training, and punching automation training. The duties are not exclusive of performing the same functions for Press Brakes, Shears and other general fabricating machines, including automated material loading/unloading machines.

A 4 yr degree in Electronics or a minimum of a 2 yr degree with related work experience preferred.
$30 per hour
Routine travel within assigned territories with occasional overnight stays.
