Amada America, Inc. is seeking a skilled field service engineer to support customers with Amada Punch Presses and related equipment. You will handle installation, training, programming, and line control software on site.
Travel within assigned territories is required to service customers and train operators. The role includes diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control systems, documenting service reports, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
To support customers with (but not limited to) Amada Punch Presses. This includes installation, service, operational training, networking, programming training, software training, application training, and punching automation training. The duties are not exclusive of performing the same functions for Press Brakes, Shears and other general fabricating machines, including automated material loading/unloading machines.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Reports to Regional Service Manager
SUBORDINATE STAFF: None
KNOWLEDGE: A 4 yr degree in Electronics or a minimum of a 2 yr degree with related work experience preferred.
PAY: $30 per hour
Routine travel within assigned territories with occasional overnight stays.
LIFTING: Average Weight: 50 lb. Frequency: Daily
