Motion Industries in Longview, WA is seeking a Customer Service Representative to accurately fulfill customer orders and manage incoming calls under close supervision.

This full-time position involves negotiating pricing within set parameters, maintaining inventory levels, and processing orders via phone, email, or walk-ins, while supporting Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years of related experience or equivalent combination.
• Product knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responds to basic customer inquiries regarding products and quotes, and handles order entry.
• Places customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk-in (counter sales).
• Influences gross profit by negotiating sale and purchase price within set parameters.
• May adjust non-contract customer pricing to meet customer demands while protecting MI profitability.
• Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business and supports process improvements.
• Orders items to maintain appropriate inventory levels for customers.
• May place orders up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 per purchase order without additional approvals.
• Sourcing products from branch, DC, or supplier inventories.
• Determines cost-effective shipping methods and coordinates with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Exepidites backorders and prepares shipments; may handle customer returns.
