Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Customer Service Representative to accurately fulfill customer orders and manage incoming calls under close supervision. You will respond to inquiries, process quotes and orders, and help maintain inventory levels to ensure timely shipments.

Strong communication and reliability are essential, with basic product knowledge preferred. The role emphasizes multi-tasking and efficient use of business systems to support sales and customer satisfaction across our Arkansas

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 0–3 years of related experience or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Responds to basic customer inquiries regarding products, provides quotes, and handles order entry.
• Places customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk-in (counter sales).
• Influences Motion Industries' gross profit through negotiating price within parameters.
• May adjust non-contract customer pricing to meet customer demands while maximizing profit.
• Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business and improve processes.
• Orders items to maintain appropriate inventory levels for customers.
• May place orders up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 per purchase order without approval.
• Source products from branch, distribution center, or supplier inventories.
• Determine the most cost-effective shipping method for orders.
• Partner with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Expedite backorders and prepare shipments; may handle returns.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
