Job summary

Bayer is seeking a supply chain operations leader to oversee Order-to-Bill and Bill-to-Cash activities for Hematology and Specialty Pharma in the US market, ensuring reliable supply and compliant service delivery.

You will coordinate data, systems, traceability programs, and customer operations across master data, SAP, and pricing workflows, with a focus on readiness and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Healthcare, Information Systems, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience; alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree with equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare customer operations, supply chain, master data and systems integration.
• Experience in regulated pharmaceutical environments and with serialized, specialty, temperature-sensitive, partner‑managed, 3PL‑supported, or contract‑controlled supply models is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SAP/ERP, customer and product master data, EDI/API interfaces, serialization or traceability, inventory and partner operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute daily Order-to-Bill and Bill-to-Cash activities, including account setup, customer service, order processing, billing, reconciliation and cash-collection support; maintain oversight of third-party operations at Accenture and act as escalation point.
• Drive compliant process improvements, support launches and new business or supply models, and act as a subject-matter expert for contracts, operational controls and audit inquiries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners on logistics and supply chain operations to develop tailored solutions for customers; cultivate relationships with account managers, sales, finance, and marketing teams to enhance engagement.
• Coordinate NDC-12 impact assessments and readiness activities across master data, SAP and system interfaces, serialization, customer operations, pricing, contracting, government pricing and special programs.
• Align cross-functional requirements and standards, dependencies and controls with interfacing functions, such as IT, Master Data, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, Market Access, Legal, Compliance and external partners.
• Lead the integrated cluster plans and maintain project risks, decisions, dependencies, readiness metrics, documentation and escalation paths, providing transparent updates to PMO and leadership.
• Maintain alignment with industry discussions, e.g. at relevant trade associations, regarding NDC-12 implementation, ensuring Bayer's readiness approach reflects evolving external expectations and best practices.
