Job summary

Ravago Manufacturing Americas in Baytown, TX seeks a Customer Solutions Specialist Lead to act as the main contact for external customers on inbound/outbound shipments and inventory questions. You will coordinate with transportation teams, carriers, PBS and production to ensure on-time shipments and accurate documentation.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork, with leadership duties including daily team leadership and mentoring new members.

Responsibilities

• Be the main point of contact for assigned external customers.
• Build sustainable relationships with customers and communicate openly.
• Advocate for customer needs and proactively follow up on issues.
• Lead resolution of inbound/outbound shipments and inventory issues.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and keep stakeholders updated.
• Collaborate with Quality Coordinator on investigations and corrective actions.
• Enter orders in Ravago Baytown’s WMS and NEO systems.
• Check inventory and allocate products for outbound shipments.
• Assist customers in meeting deadlines and scheduling shipments.
• Monitor orders from receipt to shipment for on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with PBS and Production for allocation needs.
• Escalate inventory or order issues to stakeholders.
• Work with team leads to ensure timely loading/unloading of orders.
• Train and mentor new team members and cover gatehouse as needed.
• Cross-train to ensure desk coverage within the department.
