Job summary

Ravago Americas in Baytown, TX is seeking a Packaging Associate to oversee a broad range of production activities, including connecting/disconnecting railcars and gathering samples, while maintaining equipment and a tidy, safe workplace. You will collaborate with packaging operators and forklift drivers to meet timelines and uphold safety standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, basic English proficiency, and prior experience in distribution or manufacturing.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Experience in distribution or manufacturing preferred.
Fluent reading/writing in English; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
Knowledge of warehouse equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Gather samples from railcars following safety procedures.
Take and upload photos of railcars to NEO.
Connect and disconnect railcars.
Change FF&S bag film.
Check catch pans daily and report damaged pans.
Vacuum pellets around railcars daily.
Fill pallets in the palletizer.
Follow work instructions and safety policies.
Keep work area clean of pellets and trash.
Move full Octo bins to designated area.
Empty plastic waste containers as needed and placed in the designated trailer/area.
Fill water stations weekly.
Empty recycling bins weekly.
All other duties as assigned.
