Beacon Hill Staffing Group in Rosemont, IL is seeking a customer service professional to handle inbound calls, manage orders in EDI, and provide timely updates to internal teams. This role focuses on accurate data entry, order status, and responsive customer support.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and at least 1 year in customer service, with strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. SAP and MRO knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience; inbound call center experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Basic computer navigation skills and ability to manage multiple systems.
• SAP experience and/or MRO knowledge a plus.

Responsabilités

• Process credit card payments and provide basic invoice balance details.
• Track shipments and provide proof of delivery when requested.
• Process credit/debit memo requests, invoice rebills, and documentation requests within guidelines.
• Answer basic product questions and resolve transactional discrepancies or customer complaints.
• Maintain organized and accurate records per internal procedures.
• Support additional customer service tasks as assigned by leadership.

• Respond to a minimum of 40 inbound calls per day from internal sales reps and end users.
• Enter, update, and manage customer orders in EDI.
• Provide order status updates, quotes, inventory checks, pricing, returns, and replacement information.
• Process credit card payments and provide basic invoice balance details.
• Track shipments and provide proof of delivery when requested.
• Process credit/debit memo requests, invoice rebills, and documentation requests within established guidelines.
• Answer basic product questions and resolve transactional discrepancies or customer complaints.
• Maintain organized and accurate records in accordance with internal procedures.
• Support additional customer service tasks as assigned by leadership.

Job Requirements:

• SAP experience and/or MRO product knowledge a plus.
