Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a payroll and HR generalist to process multi-state biweekly and semi-monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance across states. The role also includes end-to-end recruitment activities and educating employees on HR policies to foster a positive workplace experience.

The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, handling confidential information and collaborating with teams to meet payroll timelines and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with HRIS and ATS systems.
• Ability to handle confidential information (PII/PHI) with discretion.
• Strong analytical and communication skills in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly and semi-monthly payroll across multiple states with accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform end-to-end payroll tasks including deductions, garnishments, taxation, off-cycle runs and year-end processing.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment: create job descriptions, source candidates, review applications, interview, and coordinate hiring.
• Educate employees on HR policies and workplace standards to support compliance and a positive experience.

Job description

Primary Responsibilities

Process biweekly and semi-monthly payroll across multiple states, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.

• Perform end-to-end payroll tasks including deductions, garnishments, taxation, off-cycle runs, and year-end processing.
• Managed full-cycle recruitment efforts, including developing job descriptions, sourcing candidates, reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring activities.
• Educated employees on HR policies, procedures, and workplace standards to support compliance and promote a positive employee experience.

Job Requirements

• Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with HRIS, ATS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive information (PII/PHI).
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to shifting business needs.
