Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Team Leader to guide department associates in merchandising, inventory control, pricing, and customer service. You will ensure a productive, service‑oriented environment and help staff with training, scheduling, and performance feedback.

You will stay current on product knowledge, execute corporate directives, and assist in events and promotions to deliver a legendary shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts including discounts and percentages.
• Ability to read and analyze reports and data.
• Ability to present information to managers, associates and customers.
• Ability to conduct group meetings and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily work of department associates and supervise merchandising tasks.
• Support sales, inventory control, pricing, and customer service goals.
• Prepare task lists and supervision plans; staff scheduling.
• Coordinate training and participate in hiring and performance discussions.
• Maintain product knowledge and conduct staff product demos.
