Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Supervisor to lead the store’s cashiering, returns handling, and daily customer service excellence. This role trains and develops Customer Service Associates and ensures adherence to safe lifting and store procedures.

You will direct a team in a high-volume retail environment, manage cash operations, and uphold company policies while contributing to sales growth and a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• One year customer service/cashier supervisory experience and proven ability direct operations.
• Ability to perform in a high volume, highly complex location.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and be a self-starter.
• Demonstrated proficiency in training associates.
• Excellent communication, delegation, follow-up, and analytical skills.
• Ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment in supervising a fast-paced environment adapting to change with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to Customer Service Associates to ensure attentive and accurate service.
• Process customers at checkout using POS system.
• Process customer refunds and exchanges according to guidelines.
• Open and close registers.
• Follow cash, check and charge card acceptance procedures.
• Answer the telephone according to guidelines.
• Stock and tag merchandise displays; create price tags and signs.
• Train, develop and supervise and define workload for associates.
• Monitor associate retention and career development; communicate ideas to General Manager.
• Ensure compliance to scheduling, payroll and business planning processes.
• Monitor, maintain and follow company policies; support company expectations and systems.
