Job summary

Qualifications

• One year customer service/cashier supervisory experience
• Ability to perform in a high volume, highly complex location
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and be a self-starter
• Demonstrated proficiency in training associates
• Excellent communication, delegation, follow-up, and analytical skills
• Ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment in supervising a fast-paced environment adapting to change with a sense of urgency

Responsibilities

• Greet each customer and provide courteous service to enhance the shopping experience
• Process checkout using POS system and handle refunds/exchanges per guidelines
• Open and close registers and follow cash handling procedures
• Train, supervise and assign workload to Customer Service Associates
• Monitor associate performance and communicate development needs to the General Manager
• Ensure scheduling, hiring, payroll and business planning processes are followed and compliant
